We begin with a conversation. Then we send you a written proposal: what we do, what we deliver, how long it takes and our fee. The design fee is separate from the cost of the works.

The design
A concept with alternative scenarios, followed by developed and detailed design, a cost estimate and contractor selection.
Delivery
Site supervision, if needed, is a separate service quoted at the end of the design phase.
We can join as consultants, as designers or also oversee delivery: we decide together in the proposal.

before you begin
01What happens after I write to you?
We reply within two working days and arrange a free first conversation. From there, we decide on the next step together: a site visit, a QuickScan or a design proposal. If a step has a cost, you know before deciding.
02How much does a design project cost?
The design fee is calculated as a percentage of the cost of the works and set out in the proposal before you decide. In our free first conversation, we establish an approximate range together. The design fee and the cost of the works always remain separate.
03Do I need to know exactly what I want?
No. You only need to know which space you want to change and what is not working today. Together, we organise your needs, wishes and budget during the first conversation and site visit.
04Can you design just part of a property?
Yes. We work on an entire home, office or property, or on selected rooms, a garden or a terrace. Together, we define where the work begins and ends.
05What if I want to stop after the concept?
You can. The project begins with a first stage, brief and concept, with its own fee. The concept remains yours even if you decide not to continue.
06Who carries out the works? Do you also supervise construction?
You choose the contractors with our help: we prepare specifications and a cost estimate and help you compare quotations. If you would like us to supervise construction too, site supervision is a separate service quoted at the end of the design phase.
07Do you work beyond Rome?
Yes, throughout Italy. We combine site visits and remote meetings and, when needed, work with local professionals.
08What is QuickScan and when is it useful?
It is a diagnosis of the space as it is today: homes 450 euro, offices and practices with up to 50 workstations 750 euro, also available remotely. It is useful if you want to understand where to start before committing to a design project. If you continue, the QuickScan fee is deducted from the first stage, under the conditions set out on the QuickScan page.
