Information processed
When you use the contact form, we process the information you submit, including your name, contact details, organisation when provided, project location, project stage, budget range, timing and message.
The hosting infrastructure may process technical connection data such as IP address, request time, browser information and security logs that are necessary to deliver and protect the website.
The website also keeps daily aggregate counts of page visits, project views, contact openings and form starts or submissions. Page, campaign and source may be included, but this analytics store does not retain visitor identifiers, IP addresses or user-agent strings.
Purposes and legal basis
We use form data to reply to your request, assess a possible commission and carry out steps requested before entering into a contract. Where necessary, processing also supports the legitimate interest of protecting the website, preventing abuse and maintaining reliable communications.
We do not use contact form data for automated decision-making or unsolicited marketing.
Email delivery through Brevo
The contact form uses Brevo to deliver the message to info@bioma-studio.com. Brevo processes the information required to transmit the email on behalf of BIOMA. Domain authentication records are used to protect delivery and verify the sender.
Information may be processed by technical providers under data processing agreements and according to the safeguards required by applicable law.
Retention
Messages and project information are kept for the time needed to reply, evaluate the request and manage any resulting professional relationship. Technical logs are retained according to the security and operational periods applied by the hosting provider.
Information that is no longer required is deleted or anonymised unless a legal obligation requires longer retention.
Who receives the information
Information is accessed by BIOMA and by providers that support hosting, email delivery and website security only to the extent required for their work. Personal data is not sold.
If a project requires specialist input, information is shared only when necessary and with an appropriate legal basis or your prior agreement.
International transfers
Some technical providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, the transfer is governed by an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses or another safeguard recognised by the GDPR.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data and object to processing where the legal conditions apply. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.

Cookies and local storage
The current website does not use advertising cookies, profiling pixels, third-party marketing embeds or cookie-based analytics. Internal measurement uses anonymous daily aggregates without a visitor identifier, so no analytics consent banner is shown.
The interactive Biolibrary can store your biophilic map in the local storage of your browser. This information stays on your device and is not sent to BIOMA. You can remove it by clearing the map in the Biolibrary or deleting site data in your browser.
Fonts and external content
Website fonts are hosted locally. Visiting the site does not require a connection to Google Fonts. Links to social networks and external sources open only when you choose to follow them, and the destination website then applies its own privacy practices.
Updates
This notice may be updated when the website, providers or legal requirements change. The current version is dated 14 August 2026.
