What this project illustrates
Commercial interior design concept: coordinating displays, routes, light and materials. This retail case presents proposed decisions without claiming outcomes for sales, dwell time or customer behaviour.
01 / THE PROJECT
The retail journey becomes part of the brand identity
Store CFR treats the shop as a place to move through with curiosity. The entrance and places to pause form a continuous sequence around the display, keeping products legible while visitors choose their own pace.
The glazed frontage introduces the warm interior palette. Inside, mineral surfaces, focused light and large scale planting create a recognisable background for changing displays.
02 / READING THE PLACE
Moving through the store becomes a way to read the brand
The project alternates direct routes with openings towards planting. Seating and rugs slow the journey at selected points without imposing one direction.
Planting occupies a deep edge and changes the perceived scale. It guides movement and distinguishes zones, which means maintenance and light conditions must be designed with the interior.
The retail environment begins before the product
03 / DESIGN CHOICES
Each element clarifies the route and strengthens the store identity
Permanent elements establish the store's character. Mobile displays can change with products and collections while the route remains legible.
- 01A visible entrance
The glazed frontage reveals the palette and makes entry easy to recognise from the shopping gallery.
- 02Planting that guides
The planted edge changes scale, supports orientation and separates uses without solid partitions.
- 03Places to stay
Seating and rugs create slower moments without reducing visibility of the display.
- 04Light that distinguishes
Diffuse light sets the background. Product accents and indirect light separate displays from circulation.

04 / AN IDENTITY TO INHABIT
The store keeps its character as products and displays change
Surfaces and the planted structure provide a stable base, while light keeps uses clear. Displays and places to pause can change without making the store anonymous.
